A new study that looks at the 'well-being' of the U.S. is out, and (shocker alert) Tennessee didn't fare very well.

The Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index has ranked the Volunteer state at number 47.

And our neighbors (Mississippi and Arkansas) can't point fingers at us, because they weren't much higher, either.

But folks in Hawaii? Well, they're probably too busy enjoying the view to crow about being number 1.
