If you're reading this blog, chances are you either HAVE eaten or DO eat the amazing food Memphis has to offer.

That includes Gus's Chicken, Gibson's donuts, Restaurant Iris, The Cupboard, and any one of the top of the line eleventy BBQ joints this city has. (Sorry if I left out your favorite. There is not enough room on the Inter-web to extol the virtues of all of this city's food places.)

And with that being said, I want to make sure you know that Southern Living magazine (that fine bastion of all things south of the Mason-Dixon) is holding a contest for the Tastiest Towns. I honestly believe it's a no-brainer. We are lucky to have some of the tastiest eats anywhere, but they felt the need to make it official, I guess.

SO...I ask you to join me and vote for Memphis in the "Tastiest Towns" contest on the magazine's website.

Vote here.

(And as I write this, we are in second place, battling Durham, NC for the title. Yes, Durham. Bless their hearts. I know it's the home of Duke and all kinds of smart folks, but really. Durham? We love y'all and everything, but when it comes to food, we've got this.)

Vote early and often.
