This week, I got the chance to talk with the "First Lady of Football", Olivia Manning. It was a particular thrill for me as I went to Ole Miss, and the Manning family is practially royalty there.
But it was fun to hear about her Manning family traditions, and how excited she is to have both of her NFL champion sons at home on Super Bowl Sunday for the first time in years. (They'd probably rather be playing on that day, but things didn't work out that way this year.)
She gave me a couple of her "go-to" recipes for parties, and we talked a little Ole Miss football while we were at it.
