I had the misfortune of being out of town last November when Hostess shut down. I use the word "misfortune" because since I had to fly back, I had no room for extra items like a Twinkies stash.
But Nancy Peppin managed to get her hands on some of the snack cakes - not for eating, but for art.
She is an artist who incorporates Twinkies into her work.
You have to see it to believe it.
