Early this morning, Steve (Memphis Morning News producer and co-host) asked me about food safety. Specifically, how long can you wait past the food's date to eat the product? A couple of days? Two weeks? A month?
I'm a stickler for food dates. I have done many interviews on food safety and am permanently sketched out when it comes to the thought of bad bacteria breeding in my food.
