Early voting starts today in Tennessee. We all know the importance of voting, and making sure the process is done correctly.

Below are some resources for voters in Tennessee, Arkansas and Mississippi that may help with questions or problems you may have at the polls.

(And if you have problems voting, speak up! Call the Secretary of State's office in your state or election commission in your county to let them know.)

Tennessee:

Secretary of State: Tre Hargett
Twitter handle: @sectrehargett
Voting hotline: 1-877-850-4959
Website
Voter photo ID required? YES

**note: The Tennessee Secretary of State's office stresses that a state- or federally-issued VALID ID is required to vote in Tennessee, not a CURRENT ID. That means an expired drivers license may be used - remember, it's VALID, not necessarily CURRENT.
